All surgeries are by appointment and these can be made in person or by telephone during surgery opening hours:

(8.30 am - 1 pm and 2 pm - 6 pm weekdays).

We offer a range of appointments. Appointments with GPs and our Advanced Nurse Practitioner are normally for 10 minutes.  Appointments with our Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistant vary in length dependent on procedure.

From February 1st all requests for an on the day “urgent” appointment will be managed by  a system called telephone triage.

If you need an urgent “on the day” appointment please call the surgery at 8:30am for the morning clinic, or 2pm for the afternoon clinic, the receptionist will ask you for a contact telephone number and the clinician will call you back within the hour to  assess your condition. When only advice is required, it will be given by the clinician  over the telephone. After assessment, if the clinician  thinks that you need an appointment it will be booked for you.  The aim of this system it to get advice and treatment for our patients as quickly as possible.  Routine appointments are still available to be pre-booked in the normal way.  Please also be aware we run one Saturday clinic a month, details can be obtained from reception.

Telephone Advice

The doctors have set aside some time each day to advise and deal with any enquiries over the telephone. We will ask you to leave your contact number and enquiry in order for the doctor to call you back during the surgery hours. A triage system is in place and you may be asked to speak to the practice nurse first.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
